Built on a Powerful Core SIP Architecture

The iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server’s core SIP architecture is provided by Avaya Aura® Communication Manager and Avaya Aura® Session Manager. The Avaya Aura® Session Manager acts as a registrar for Avaya, third-party SIP endpoints and for iNEMSOFT ClassOne iCAS Radio Servers, IP Radio Gateways, Consoles and Applications. Session Manager also acts as a SIP Proxy for outbound/inbound trunk calls and provides a centralized dial plan for least-cost and time-of-day routing.


ClassOne Radio Server


The iNEMSOFT ClassOne iCAS Radio Server middleware manages all system interactions with the Avaya Aura® platform, as well as with client applications, system administration tools and endpoints. The Radio Server runs as a standard Linux Operating System appliance, using various models of the HP ProLiant server technology. Application services processes are dynamically loaded, configured, initialized, enabled, disabled and unloaded by the iNEMSOFT ClassOne iCAS Radio Server Administration Management System.


The iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server and its Avaya core can be economically scaled from a small local system to an enterprise-wide IP telephony and radio network. This facilitates both centralized and distributed deployments with necessary failover, availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Host server and process replication provides an essential foundation for failover, recovery and self-healing as the network is scaled.



The iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server and its underlying Avaya architecture provide high reliability and availability. For continuous operation during local failures or disaster conditions, systems and applications can be replicated to any number of host servers, either at the same location or at different physical locations for geographic separation.

The iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server provides a flexible, software-based bridge between previously incompatible radios and telephones.

  • Application sharing. Extend Avaya’s Aura® communications applications to radios and off-network cell phones, including conferencing, contact center functionality and more.
  • Call management and routing. Distribute incoming radio and telephone calls to and from any the device or group of devices, on network or off.
  • Centralized management. Create a permanent, central repository for system configuration, reports, alarms and authentications, and caller and location identification.
  • Collaboration. Connect disparate radio channels, operator consoles and telephones so field personnel can work seamlessly with each other and with office-based teams. Define collaboration groups to communicate and receive broadcast emergency voice messages, updates and instructions.

  • Disaster recovery. Use the iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server as a networked appliance for a disaster recovery site – running it in standby mode or in active mode with load sharing for automatic failover.
  • Live upgrades. Install iNEMSOFT ClassOne® iCAS Radio Server software upgrades without having to power down the server.
